10 songs that are permanently among my favorites

Let's talk about music or songs ?!

Each of us has a list of favorite songs that he / she likes to hear and that provide goose bumps. Such songs are not short-term earwigs or mayflies, they last forever! Our favorite songs touch us so abruptly and deeply in the heart and remind us of beautiful experiences. That's why they always remain special and unforgettable for us and create instant feelings.

Here is the list of my top 10 songs that will keep inspiring, inspiring and intoxicating me:

1. Rocket Man? - Elton John

Rocket Man? is just great. The soulful song shoots every time directly into the heart and touches me again and again. The beautiful, sentimental song tells us the story of an astronaut sent to Mars for scientific research purposes. The song idea for? Rocket Man? came spontaneously into Bernie Taupins head after the songwriter of a short story? The Rocket Man? inspired by Ray Bradbury. Next, Elton John has made the rewritten, great text with its incredible voice a timeless hit.

Also my favorite series? Californication? was released several times from my favorite song? Rocket Man? accompanied!

2nd? Bohemian Rhapsody? - Queen

?Bohemian Rhapsody? with his lyrics and his extraordinary song composition is a unique, fascinating music masterpiece. The song is so inexplicable and special, there is nothing comparable! To this day, humanity tries to interpret and understand the lines. To this day, there is no clear explanation of what exactly the lyrics are about. Despite the lack of explanation, "Bohemian Rhapsody" seems enigmatic and gigantic. Awesome!

I think I do not have to say anything more about this feat except that it is awesome!

3. The Sound of Silence? - Simon & Garfunkel

Sometimes I can even hear this song in continuous loop, and it never bothers me. The lyrics have a great depth and are meaningful. According to Art Garfunkel, this song is about how unable people are to talk to each other, actually listen to each other and really love each other. These lines are best used to understand what he meant:

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools," said I, "You do not know
Silence, like a cancer, grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you "
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells, of silence?

There is another version of the song? Sound of Silence, which is also super nice and powerful by the equally great group? Disturbed? is performed. Whether by Simon & Garfunkel or by? Disturbed? recited, this song is a milestone in music history!

4. Turn the page? - Metallica

Why do I like this song so much and why is it always fascinating me? What is behind this song?

This beautiful, rocking ballad has something really special about itself: Again and again, quiet parts alternate with hard guitar riffs. The quiet passages are sung so great and soulful. The hard moments push for Mitrocken and reach new depth limits!

The song lines tell about the monotonous life of musicians on a long tour and their longing for the homeland. The dark side of being famous with its loneliness is shown very clearly in the song.

You do not have to be a fan of? Metallica? be to love this song. The song is suitable for soft ears due to its balance!

5.? Clint Eastwood? - Gorillaz

The songs of the? Gorillaz? are generally hypnotic anyway. Some of those songs blew me away right away, "Clint Eastwood? unlike the other songs, came slowly towards me, then packed me inexorably and stayed in my head forever.

The song has something cool about it and will not let you go again! The mystic rhythm, the exciting background music, and even the monotonous vocals that go great with the song, make Clint Eastwood? so incredibly distinctive! This is just a great song with positive, energizing, but also relaxing effect, that after listening never stops running in the head.

6. I just died in your arms? - Cutting crew

I just died in your arms? is one of my favorite tunes, a melodic piece from the eighties. It's a beautiful, rocking ballad with a great melody, good vocals, fine guitar work and great guitar sound at the end of the song. The song is romantic and very emotional. He brings all hearts to melt despite the age. Also reminds me? I just died in your arms? to beautiful moments of my life!

When writing the song, Nick Van Eede was influenced by his own relationship. He wrote the song after a special night with his ex, whom he has not seen for a year. Whether that was the right decision to spend such a night of love with his ex, he did not know. But the night has given him this fantastic, world-famous music hit and also his daughter.

This well-known and successful song has often been covered. The melody of the song was copied as often.

7. Zombie? - The Cranberries

This song is also one of my all-time favorites and has something compelling about it. ?Zombie? is a classic from my youth, but the song tears me off even now. The song is so special, it can either please or not at all and is not for everyone. But I love 'zombie', especially the ingenious, strong voice of singer Dolores O'Riordan.

As the Irish band? The Cranberries? used to make folkloric, quiet music, was the spectacular protest song? zombie? like an explosion for his listeners. The song is about the long, barbaric Northern Ireland conflict, which many innocent people have fallen victim to.

?Zombie? has become a world hit, even for those who knew little about the conflict. In my opinion, this is one of those haunting goosebumps-feeling songs, which speaks to many of the soul and remains unforgettable and legendary even after the death of the singer.

8. Ghetto gospel? - 2Pac

The song? Ghetto gospel? was released in 2004, after the death of the late rap icon Tupac Shakur. Ghetto gospel? was produced by Eminem. The chorus of the song was sung by Elton John (Sample from the hit "Indian Sunset"). Personally, I think the duo was a great success. This Elton John 2Pac combination is a strong number and I really like it!

What did the rapper want to do with his song? He wanted to address the American youth. 2Pac felt sorry for them because they grew up in some very difficult circumstances and still do. He asked to stop the American street wars and think about their future. In addition, the song sounds like a kind of prayer to God.

Although Tupac Shakur is no longer there, his songs are still important today. I would argue that even after his death, his music reaches a much higher level than most modern performers of popular rap culture.

9. "Brothers in Arms" - Dire Straits

This song is a true masterpiece. Brothers in Arms? is my absolute favorite song, in which I can sink. A calm, fantastically beautiful melody, melancholic singing and of course the guitar solo at the end make the song unsurpassable and timeless.

The song is about the topics "war? and its meaninglessness. The critical text tells about the plight of the soldiers, who have to fight for the stupidity of the war and also die for it. The emotional highlight that the song offers is simply not to be outdone!

Every time I listen to the song, it opens my heart with its message. The piece of music is so grandiose that it has not lost its charm over time!

10. My Immortal? - Evanescence

The song is beautiful with great vocals by Amy Lee and a great melody with delightful piano and string passages. The text touched me too and went right under the skin. The first calm, gentle part, later a powerful chorus as well as the energetic ending form an incredibly great song, which hits everyone deeply even without a strong rock influence. ? My immortal? is a nice change from any other Evanescence song that was usually combined with Nu Metal and Alternative Rock.

Im? Immortal? it is about the loss of an important, beloved person. Through his lines, the song is indeed sad, but also honest and very touching. This makes the song a genius classic that will be remembered forever.

So, this is my personal hit list of the "milestones of music history", which I have always loved and I will never hear enough of! What are your favorite classics, what is up and down with you? That would really interest me! I'm curious what you write about it.
