20 sweet waffle variations

Waffles are eaten and baked very well, and almost everyone has their standard recipe for this. Below I have put together some variations on how to easily and quickly modify a basic recipe. I have only considered sweet waffles. The hearty variants are again an issue in itself.

  1. Cappuccino waffles (add 2 tablespoons of cappuccino powder)
  2. Eggnog waffles (replace a good portion of the liquid with eggnog)
  3. Buckwheat waffles / Allergic waffles (replacing the flour with buckwheat flour, available in the health food store, health food store and some supermarkets or drugstores.) Buckwheat waffles are ideal for wheat allergy sufferers, because buckwheat is gluten-free)
  4. Coconut waffles (just add a handful of coconut flakes)
  5. Chocolate waffles (add about 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder)
  6. Spelled waffles (instead of wheat flour, use spelled flour, it's very healthy, it's available in health food shops, health food stores, some supermarkets and drugstores)
  7. Nougat waffles (plenty of Nutella admit)
  8. Buttermilk waffles (replace the liquid with buttermilk)
  9. Oatmeal waffles (replace about half of the flour with tender oatmeal)
  10. Whole wheat waffles (finely ground whole wheat flour and honey instead of sugar use)
  11. Apple waffles (stir 1-2 coarsely grated apples under the dough)
  12. Butter vanilla waffles (depending on the amount, add 5-10 drops of butter vanilla flavor)
  13. extra fluffy waffles (use mineral water and replace some flour with cornstarch)
  14. Nut waffles (to add ground nuts)
  15. Almond waffles (to add ground almonds)
  16. Schmand-Waffles (1 cup of Schmand or Crème fraiche to admit)
  17. Yeast waffles (for connoisseurs of yeast dough, mix dough with thin liquid)
  18. Amaretto waffles (add a good dash of amaretto liqueur)
  19. Soy waffles (replace some of the flour with soy flour, available at the health food store or health food store, soy is a healthy source of protein)
  20. Egg waffles (take a few more eggs, stir egg yolks and beaten egg whites separately).

And to serve: fruit cream! Beat the cream, lightly sweet, then stir in the finely chopped fruit of the season (strawberries, peaches, apricots, whatever you have ...)
