4-hole punching with "normal" punch

Actually, I wanted to grow a hole punch that punched 4 holes at the same time, because I still have ring binders with 4 rings for DIN-A-4 sheets and do not always want to use transparencies for it.

As I have learned by chance (only in my advanced age ...), this is quite easy with an ordinary punch with a Anlegeschiene, which stands on 888 or 3 x 8, which means 3 x 8 cm distance. Set the rail to this number, put on the sheet, punch, rotate the sheet, lay down again and punch again. Voilà, 4 holes in the right place!

Very few of those I asked about the importance of the 888 knew them. Maybe this is also new information for one or the other of you.
