8 important winter utensils for the car

In winter you should equip your car with some things to be prepared in case of emergency.

This includes

  1. A blanket: In winter, it is often due to left-lying trucks to road closures. A blanket can keep warm so you do not have to keep the engine running. Furthermore, it can also be used to warm an accident victim until rescue workers arrive.
  2. A jumper cable: Due to the cold, car batteries have to do a lot in the winter. Especially older batteries will not make it possible to turn the starter. A jumper cable helps to get the engine running in the event of a weak battery.
  3. Wiping water reserve: In bad weather conditions and the use of road salt contaminates the disc enormously fast. Especially when driving in the dark in the dark, the disc must be cleaned several times in between to have a clear view. As soon as one notices that the mop water tank empties, no longer spray, but refill, An "empty spray" of the mop water system can lead to a dry mop water pump and thus to a failure of the mop water device. Important: Ensure adequate frost protection!
  4. Ice Scraper & Hand Brush: Before driving, all slices should be cleared of ice and snow, otherwise a fine threatens. Furthermore one brings with small "peepholes" and other road users unnecessarily in danger. Do not forget the headlights and other lighting equipment!
  5. gloves: They protect the hands from cold, snow and ice.
  6. defroster: Belongs to the purse or to the key holder and not in the car.
  7. Tow rope: Stuck? A tow rope can be the savior here. Do not forget the tool. And very important: Checks off before the occurrence of such a case, where your towing hook is!

For further trips to the countryside you should also have a filled reserve canister with you.

Remember to always carry the prescribed things such as safety vests, first aid kit and warning triangle!

I wish you a safe journey!
