A fruit salad that always tastes good

I make this fruit salad all year round because it always tastes good.

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 2 medium apples, I take either Jonagold, Elstar or Delicious
  • 2 bananas, not too ripe, but not green
  • 4 clementines or 2 medium sized oranges
  • 1 pink grapefruit
  • 2 kiwis
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp rum of your choice

preparation

  1. Peel the apples, quarter them, remove the core and cut into small pieces, peel the bananas and cut into thin slices, peel clementines or oranges, remove the white threads from the peels to a large extent. Cut into small pieces. Remove the peel from the kiwis, remove the white core and cut into small pieces.
  2. Put the fruit in a bowl and pour the juice of the lemon over it. The lemon juice ensures that the fruit does not turn brown, and compensates for the sugar.
  3. Then add the sugar and rum over the fruit, mix well and allow to strain for about 2 hours. In summer I put the fruit salad in the fridge in the heat.

Of course you can also grapes, peaches or nectarines, apricots or z. B. also use soft fruits. There are no limits to the taste.

Who does not like rum, can prepare the fruit salad with a 100% apple juice.
