A great remedy for colds: homemade chicken broth

The best remedy for colds is and remains a chicken broth. Of course, homemade. It's easy too. For all those who have never cooked a chicken stock myself, I wrote down the recipe here:

Peel a bunch of soup greens and dice small. Braise in a little oil. Put a ready-to-cook chicken in the saucepan and add enough water to cover the chicken. Add salt, a few crushed peppercorns and one or two halved tomatoes and cook for about two and a half hours. Remove the chicken and allow to cool. Pour the broth through a sieve into another saucepan. Season with salt, pepper and lovage. If necessary, instant broth can also be added. Meanwhile cooled chicken skin and loosen the meat from the bones. Cut the meat into small pieces and put it back into the soup. If you want, you can still add vermicelli or other soup inserts.

For colds, take a plate several times a day. In conjunction with a cold spray, one day bed rest, a lot to drink (preferably called fruit tea with lemon) and in the evening, a cold bath you feel like born again the next day!
