A hearty winter stew with minced meat and bread dumplings

This delicious hearty vegetable mince stew is prepared rather quickly and you only need a few ingredients.
ingredients
- 500 g minced meat (mixed with pork and beef)
- Gurnard for searing
- 2 onions
- about 400 g of potatoes
- about 400 g of carrots
- 1 kohlrabi
- 2 peppers
- about 2 L of vegetable stock
- 1 small tin of peas (140 g)
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Pepper, salt, caraway
- some paprika and ginger powder
- 1 package (375 g) mini bread dumplings (from ALDI)
- fresh parsley (or TK)
- 1 cup (200 g) sour cream or sour cream
These ingredients are enough for 5-6 servings
preparation
- First of all, clarified butter is heated in a large, coated pot, and the meat minced with pepper, salt, cumin and paprika and the diced onions are sautéed.
- Then potatoes and kohlrabi are peeled and cut into small cubes, the carrots are peeled and cut into thin slices, added and briefly fried.
- Now add the vegetable stock, season everything well again and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, clean the peppers and cut them into small pieces, then give them with the tomato paste to vegetables and cook everything another 10 minutes.
- Then add the peas and dumplings, everything is brought to a boil again and you let the soup with the dumplings for another 15 minutes.
- If necessary, it can be seasoned, then the soup is served with parsley and some sour cream or sour cream.
