A yellowed, old Springrollo like new

The Springrollo is old and yellowed or would you prefer a different color, because it fits better with the wallpaper?

Spring blinds can be given a new look with acrylic paint. And it looks like new.

Unwind the roller blind and place it on a papering table.

Apply acrylic paint with a roller and allow to dry. If it's not covered, repeat and let it dry again. The same then from the other side.

When everything is completely dry, the roller blind can be hung up and rolled up as before.

Another possibility would be to remove the fabric of the roller blind and to re-attach a colorful fabric of the same size and then to paint it with acrylic clearcoat, until it has the desired strength.

Then re-work the lower rail and attach the ribbon with the ball to pull.

I've already given old blinds a new look. Especially nice was an old roller blind that I painted in white, then I applied big poppy flowers with the napkin technique.

Everyone thought I had done new Spring Rollos ;-)

Incidentally, there is also the device for these Spring blinds without the fabric to buy it yourself.

Have fun and success while reworking.
