Acid Danube wave - with a difference
Since the normal Danube wave is delicious, but very lush, I usually bake the "SOUR DONAUWELLE". It has a lot less calories and is fruity tasty.
Ingredients and preparation
From 200 g butter, 200 g sugar, 1 vanilla sugar and 6 eggs, stir a white cream for the batter. Add 1 pinch of salt, 225 g of flour with 1 tbsp. Of cocoa, 2 level teaspoon of baking powder and sieved to the cream, add approx. 2 tbsp of milk. Put the dough on a baking sheet and sprinkle with 2 glasses of well drained cherries.
Top / bottom heat 180 degrees, hot air about 160 degrees, bake for about 25 minutes. Put a baking frame over it!
Make a quark cream instead of buttercream:
Mix 750 g of quark, 150 g of sugar, 3 - 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, add 8 sheets of white gelatine dissolved. Whip 500 ml of cream until stiff and fold in. Paint on the cooled cake.
Instead of chocolate sauce:
Boil 500 ml of cherry juice with 2 sachets of cake sauce, cool until it gels and then spread on the quark mixture. Cool until the casting is firm. Decorate according to your mood.
EXTRATIPP: half the amount baked in the springform pan gives a wonderful cake!
