Alcohol and soda against bad smells in the car
I spray the car seat with spirit (undiluted). Add methylated spirits to a flower sprayer and spray the car seat with it slightly (do not wet it if the seat heater is present!) And then sprinkle soda (= baking powder) over the seat. The soda I put in a salt shaker, so you can distribute the powder more evenly.
I leave that for about 10 minutes. Then I suck off the mixture thoroughly with a wet vacuum. Then I give hot water (as hot as it comes out of the faucet, so definitely not boiling water!) Into the flower sprayer and moisten the seat again; the water must be sucked out again immediately with the wet vacuum cleaner. If necessary, you can repeat the whole procedure and possibly twice with warm water nachreinigen.
Helps with urine stank, spilled milk, vomit, dog droppings etc. very well.
