Aloe vera for burns

I can only recommend to anyone, to put an aloe vera plant at home on the window sill. In case of burns first cool the burned area well, then cut off a piece of leaf of the aloe, cut or halve in the middle, open and place with the gel side on the burn wound. Cover with a bandage, possibly stick with plaster so that the leaf piece does not slip. Best left on it for several hours, if possible overnight. If necessary, renew the bandage and sheet. I can report from my own experience that you do not get blisters. Cut leaves of aloe last a long time when stored in the refrigerator. If you want to consume it, then puree in a blender and add to fruit juices, is also still very healthy. The aloe vera gel, which one gets to buy in the trade is by far not as good in the effect as the original plant.
