Of course, not only do we sweat people at these temperatures, but the animals suffer as well. But the animals can not just take a quick shower or take a bath, nor can they just take off their coat. They then look for a cool spot in the house.

- My girlfriend has several little bunnies and guinea pigs, which she likes to put a cool damp towel on the floor, when they run free in the room, then lie down and relax. This is also done in dogs and even some cats like it in the heat.
- Today I also put our dog a cool old towel over his back, he found it quite comfortable. Dogs sweat on their paws, where they have some sweat glands, and also regulate their body temperature when they start to pant. Our dog is already 12 years old and the older a dog is, the more he gets sick of the heat, my vet said lately.
- Just like dogs with thick fur, you should not cut it too short, because as in winter, the coat protects the dogs from the cold, so it protects them from the sun in the summer.
- Even animals can suffer a heat stroke, you should always place them cool water, never go out with them at lunchtime, preferably in the morning and in the evening. There is also a rule, if you put the back of your hand on the sidewalk and you can not keep it longer than 5 seconds, then it is too hot for animals to walk on it.
- If you have birds at home, they should, if possible, provide you with a bath, they love to bathe in it, and always watch the cage stand in the shade, just as you should watch out for all rodents.

Please do not leave animals in the car, not even with open windows! At the temperatures you could bake a pizza in the car in 15 minutes, I have seen at Galileo!
