Another recipe for liverwurst

Liver sausage recipe

ingredients

  • 750 g of beef liver
  • 2 onions
  • 1 kg of minced meat mixed
  • 2 slightly heaped EL pickling salt
  • grated nutmeg
  • freshly ground pepper
  • ground oregano, ripened basil, ripened thyme

preparation

  1. Rinse beef liver under running water (cold) and pat dry and dice.
  2. Peel onions and cut in half. Turn onions and liver through the middle slice of meat grinder.
  3. Fill minced meat with beef liver and onion mixture and all other spices into glasses and close. The spices have to be seasoned, because everyone has a different taste.
  4. Put the glasses in the drip tray filled with hot water, boil the bottom rail in the oven or in the pressure cooker.

Upper / lower heat: 160 - 180 degrees (preheated)


Hot air: approx. 160 degrees (not preheated)

Gas: level 3 (preheated)

Cooking time approx. 1.5 hours

Glasses: glasses with rubber rings are better. But glasses with screw cap are also possible.
