Apfelmustorte with a difference

Now comes the apple time and my personal favorite baking time, as I like apples in every variant as a cake. Has announced a short visit, I make a Apfelmustorte, as it can be prepared quite quickly and without much effort.

Tortenboden I always do it myself, because the purchased is too dry for me. The recipe:

For the cake bottom:

  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 pck of baking powder

For covering:

  • vanilla pudding
  • Applesauce (the apples can still have bits)
  • whipped cream
  • cinnamon sugar

preparation

  1. The ingredients for the cake base, all together in a container and mix with the blender, then bake at about 150 degrees circulating air for 10-15 minutes (each stove is different, please try it yourself).
  2. In the meantime I peel about 6 large apples and simmer them with very little water, sugar and lemon juice. After that I roughly chop them up with a potato masher.
  3. Make 200 ml of milk and a packet of vanilla pudding, a slightly firmer pudding and let cool.
  4. Spread the pudding on the finished and cooled cake base, then the apple mass.
  5. Whip out 2 cups of whipped cream, 2 vanilla sugar and 2 creams, beat a firm cream and finally add to the pudding-apple mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and then feed, feed, feed.
