Apple crumb cake

5 big apples
100 g raisins
8 tbsp sugar (or equivalent sweetener)
250 g of soft wheat semolina
250 g flour
1/2 packet of baking powder
1 pack of vanilla sugar
250 g of butter (or margarine)
50 g of planed nuts or almonds

Peel apples, trigger core casing and cut into thin slices. Braise sugar, raisins and the apple slices briefly.

Knead the remaining ingredients except nuts or almonds to a cloying mass.


Grease a springform pan or live it out with baking paper and fill in half of the crumble. Spread the steamed apple raisins on top and crumble the remaining streusel over it.

Now sprinkle the sliced ​​almonds or nuts over it.

Bake at 200 ° C for 45 minutes on a medium rack.
