Apple pie with chestnut flour and egg white powder

At an event, I tried a piece of protein cake and immediately bought the powder. There is already protein bread, why not protein in the cake!

In the supermarket, the expensive chestnut flour was cheaper. I immediately bought. Can also be used for baking and chestnuts should be good for the brain. As a sugar substitute, I took Xucker. A piece of this protein apple pie has only 160 calories.

ingredients

  • 3 big apple
  • 1 tsp bourbon vanilla
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 200 g of fine white flour
  • 50 g chestnut flour
  • 10 g (2 tablespoons) protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 200 g of oatmeal
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 g (3 tablespoons) Xucker (xylitol)
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the springform
  • some protein powder (or powdered sugar) to sprinkle

preparation

  1. Peel apples, quarter them, remove seeds, cut into small pieces.
  2. Add the lemon juice, mix well and add bourbon vanilla. Cover the bowl.
  3. Mix white flour, chestnut flour, baking powder, egg white powder in mixing bowl.
  4. Oatmilk and everything knead.
  5. Beat eggs in another bowl and stir.
  6. Add Xucker and stir well.
  7. Add the egg mix to the flour mixture and stir with a mixer.
  8. Add the apples to the dough and stir in gently.
  9. Grease the Springform and sprinkle breadcrumbs over the fat.
  10. Pour the dough into the springform and distribute evenly.
  11. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 160 degrees. Let stand in the oven for 10 minutes. Then cool and sprinkle with egg white powder (or powdered sugar).

My advice: Take bourbon vanilla. It is more expensive than vanilla sugar. But she gives a great taste!
