Apple pie with pudding topping

Here is a simple recipe from my mom for a cake:

For the dough you need:
- 250 ml of milk
- 80 g of sugar
- 80 g of butter
- 2 pck vanillin sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cube of yeast (or dry yeast)
- 500g flour
- 1 pinch of salt
For the apple layer:
- 1 kg of apples
And for the pudding topping:
- 1 bag of vanilla pudding
- 500 ml of milk
- 40 g of sugar for the pudding preparation
- 2 eggs
- some sugar for the egg whites
Preparation dough
- Heat the milk, place in a large mixing bowl and pan to warm the bowl.
- Mix the sugar and soft butter in it.
- Add vanillin sugar and egg.
- Crumble yeast and stir well.
- Stir in flour and salt and knead well.
- Dust the dough with flour. Put a lid (or cloth) on the bowl.
- Leave the dough in a warm place to "go" (about 20 to 30 minutes).
- Roll out the dough on a baking tray.
- Peel apples and distribute apple slices on the dough so that it is completely covered.
- Prepare the pudding according to the package instructions and allow to cool slightly.
- Separate egg yolks and egg whites. Beat the egg yolk and the pudding.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding a little sugar. Stir egg whites under the pudding.
- Spread the mass on the apple layer.
- Place the tray on the middle level in the oven.
- 140 to 160 ° C (hot air) or 170 to 190 ° C (top / bottom heat)
- The baking time is 25 to 50 minutes, depending on the oven
- Poke in the cake with a wooden stick. If no dough pieces get stuck, the cake is ready.
- The pudding cover should look golden yellow!
