- 1 puff pastry or yeast dough (depending on availability) from the refrigerated counter (of course he may also be made by himself)
- 3 apples
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1-3 tbsp cinnamon (to taste)
- a little lemon peel
- a little lemon juice
- powdered sugar
preparation
- First you need a pot of water to bring to a boil, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and the lemon juice.
- The apples are quartered, gutted and cut into 3-5 mm thick slices and then come into the water for about 2 minutes to become flexible / soft. Then cool in a colander.
- Take the finished junk or dough and sprinkle it with the remaining sugar, cinnamon and lemon and then cut the dough into 1-2cm thick strips (just go with a Pizza Roller).
- Now you lay the apple slices slightly overlapping next to each other and rolls the whole to a snail. Ideally, the apple slices stand a little over and it now looks like a rose.
- So that the ends do not rise when baking, you can fix them with toothpicks.
- Now for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees in the oven and you have a quick and simple dessert.
