Baguette - home-baked - super easy

Here I have a delicious, super easy, almost as in France tasting baguette recipe.

Ingredients for 2 breads:

600 g flour type 550, but also goes with 405er flour
1/2 tsp dry yeast
2 teaspoons salt

Mix 500 g of flour with dry yeast and salt, with a spoon! stir in about 400 ml of water. Cover the bowl with well-closing lid or cling film and refrigerate best overnight. The next day dust the now liquid dough with the remaining 100 g of flour and work it in again with the spoon. Divide into two portions and flatten on a floured surface - do not knead! Fold the pages together and flatten again, then roll to a baguette. Slice the bread 2 - 4 times at a time and dust with flour. Let it go for another hour.

Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in the oven preheated to 250 degrees on the 2nd bar from the bottom for 10 minutes, then down to 200 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes.

From time to pour some water on the bottom of the oven (1-2 teaspoons) then the crust is nice and crispy!

It sounds more complicated than it is, just give it a try, the bread tastes better than Disounter baguette.

I always freeze a loaf of bread, it also tastes thawed very well.
