Bake delicious cherry patties

This delicious Kirschfladen was with us today, I can only recommend it to you and he is not difficult to bake.

Ingredients for the dough

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 125 g butter (margarine)
  • 4 tablespoons of milk

Ingredients for the toppings

  • 1 glass of cherries
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • a little cornstarch about 1/2 tsp

preparation

  1. Put the flour and butter in a bowl, then beat with the dough hook until the dough becomes crumbly, then add the egg yolks, sugar and some milk and knead the dough well with your hands.
  2. Let it rest for about 1 hour and leave to cool.
  3. In the meantime, take about 2/3 of the cherries and boil them with a little cherry juice and the sugar, the remaining cherries herause ask.
  4. Now mix the cornstarch with a little cold water and tie the cooked cherries with it, then cool and puree.
  5. Preheat the oven to about 180 degrees, then roll out the dough with some flour very thinly (as best as possible) and use it to line a springform pan (previously laid out with baking paper) so that it is about 3 cm high all around.
  6. Now spread the cherry puree in it and put the remaining cherries on it.
  7. At the end, whip the entire dough edge into the filling and spread with some egg whites.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes and you can enjoy it! Best he tastes lukewarm. We also had vanilla ice cream, delicious!
  9. The 2 hours, are already included in the cooling time of the dough!
