Ballerina shoes do not stop at the foot

I love ballerinas - but since I always wear stockings, they are not stuck. Obviously, they are made to hold by the "suction" of the bare foot.

No wonder that little girls often wear shoes with a strap over the instep, so-called "Mary-Janes". They also usually wear stockings.

I brought two pairs of my ballerinas to the shoemaker and told him my problem. He suggested that one pair (black-brown) should sew a thin strap of elastic black leather across the instep. For my golden ballerinas he had a light olive rubber strap, about 5 mm wide. After 3 days I was able to pick up the shoes, I paid almost 10 euros.

And now I can even run after a bus without losing my shoes.
