Bamboo steamer for steamed pasta or Maultaschen

My brood loves steamed noodles. Now I'm not a fan of many pots at the same time on the stove and above all I do not like the rinsing of maybe burnt pots.

Recently I bought a bamboo damper with 3 floors. Now steamed noodles are a breeze. I just put a piece of sandwich paper (you can certainly take baking paper) in each grid, the steamed noodles in and on the pot. After about 15 - 20 minutes they are ready.

The fine is, it is a large amount at the same time, you save the fat (ok, crust lovers will miss the same, but I could never suffer this anyway) and has only a pot to rinse and it was only filled with water! The bamboo grids are also easy to clean, since the parchment paper was inside.

In the meantime, I also like to cook my Maultaschen like that. They are then nice dry outside and can be picked up and processed well. They stay in shape and do not open. Cooking in the broth always seemed like an unnecessary hassle, but that's me.

Have fun steaming :))
