Basil grows lusciously by harvesting it properly

For years I bought one or more pots of basil and had little fun with it. I watered, I fertilized and still they were over after a short while.

My mistake was, I always harvested the biggest leaves from the bottom of my stalk.

Somehow I thought that you had to leave the top tender leaves behind and look after them.

Wrong thinking, since I cut off the tips from the beginning, my plant branches out wildly and I'm happy every day, how well it gets her.

I would never have thought of it, if I had not used the entire tips for decoration.

Just try it, it works.
