Bath additive made by yourself: good for a cold and to relax

Do you want a relaxing bath, also helpful for colds and good for skincare? You can make this yourself - with pine needles and oil.

Recently, I collected needles from Christmas trees and infused with plain rapeseed oil or sunflower oil. You can of course use other types of oil, but these two are the most neutral, especially with regard to the smell.

Specifically, I do it like this:

I'll pick the needles from the twigs to fix them - you can leave some twigs and later put them in the bottles for decoration - and put them loosely in wide-necked glasses or bottles. I fill this with the oil and put it in the cellar. After 2-3 weeks, the oil has triggered the essential oils of the needles, and the bath additive is ready.

It helps me to soften my cornea, to keep the skin supple and to relax. For this I use for a comfortable full bath about 80-100 ml of oil, bath time at least 30-45 minutes. The additive works through the essential oils that pass through the insertion into the oil.

The remainders in the bathtub I clean then with my also self-made cleaner of orange peel and vinegar away.
