Baukindergeld: Application possible since September 2018
Financial support for families with children came into force on 18.9.2018. The Baukindergeld, with which families with children per child and year annually can receive 1,200 euros. This over a period of 10 years.
The income limit for an application for Baukindergeld is € 75,000 taxable income and increases per child by € 15,000 free allowance. For the calculation of the income, the last two years before the application are relevant. This application can be submitted to KfW.
Construction child benefit is paid only if you build the first time or bought a property. It will be paid retroactively to 01.01.2018.
It is important to mention that the property itself must be used, otherwise there is no entitlement to the Baukindergeld.
I think it's good that there is this kind of financial relief now and relieves families with children when purchasing a house or house building.
Should be fast, because the funds for the construction costs are limited!
