Be careful when buying fittings
In the "discussion" about the hanger for the quiet village, I remembered a tip from the craftsman of our confidence.
If one or the other fancies to purchase new fittings (be it kitchen or bathroom), then please make sure that the fitting complies with the German DIN standards!
We are allowed to buy everything in Germany, but whether we are allowed to install it, is another matter! And if there is any damage to the fitting of this fitting, your insurance company may refuse payment ...
Incidentally, this also applies to many other products that can be obtained in the hardware store or even at Aldi and Co.!
So, just ask more, inform and possibly spend 1-2 euros more!
