Beautify vases and tealight glasses

Vases and small tealight containers, which look boring, can beautify and spice up in a jiffy.

As you can see, I have not taken a vase for it, but an empty big sausage glass, but everyone can do what they want. However, it works only with the same narrow containers, ie from bottom to top, the container should be the same thickness and have no bulges.

This requires the following

  • a piece of white construction paper (or color as desired)
  • a cutter, preferably a small one
  • craft glue

This is how it's done

  1. Cut the paper to the size of the glass, lay it all around and see how big it is.
  2. Place the construction paper on a trimmable surface and cut in semicircular circles. Best always line under line
  3. If you use another glass, you can still leave the paper a few inches higher than the glass, as I do, then no one will see which one it is.
  4. The paper is placed around the glass and glued with an adhesive the ends, it is best to turn the glass on the sticky side, then hold it together better and let it dry for a few minutes.
  5. Now you can open the semicircular circles with your fingers, maybe repair something with a pair of scissors and your embellishment is ready.

Old vases that you might not want to put up because of the color, you can adjust the style of furnishing, if you choose the appropriate construction paper color, also look great embellished tealight glasses ... Have fun!
