Bed linen: pillows too big
What to do if you do not have the usual pillow size of 80 x 80? At 40 x 80 it is still, there was a great tip for small folds in there.
At 40 x 60 it gets harder. If you have a sewing machine, but that is not a problem. In the case of the pillowcases, the plastic zipper is sewn in slightly offset, that is, it does not lie exactly on the edge of the pillow. You can put the cover quite smooth on the table, as if it is a normal piece of fabric. The zipper is almost on top.
Now you can measure the cover and easily cut to the desired size and sew. Then you sew over it over the zipper (usually several times, then it holds better). Already one has an individually fitting pillowcase.
