Beef stew Obelix

ingredients

  • 250 g fresh mushrooms
  • Thyme, 1 bay leaf, some juniper berries,
  • 3-4 cloves, salt, pepper
  • 1/2 l bitter red wine
  • 1/2 l of broth

preparation

Cut the beef into approx. 3 cm pieces, finely chop the onions and the garlic. Drain the sliced ​​bacon in olive oil in a roasting pan. Take out and set aside. Fry the meat vigorously, add onions, bacon and Knobi. Stir in the tomato puree and deglaze everything with red wine. Add the spices, cover on and for about 2 hours at about 180 ° C in the roasting pan. Now and then pour some hot meat stock. Olives and mushrooms at the end of the cooking time.
