Berry protection for high currant bush made easy

My family likes redcurrants - as well as the blackbirds and the entire flock of birds. Without a bird net over the berries the harvest would be very scarce.

Every year we sigh for days at the thought of stretching the net over the 1.50 m high currant bushes. First, the net is laid out on the lawn, then stretched together over the shrub.

If that were so easy ... the plastic net gets stuck on the small branches. You solve with difficulty and start from the beginning.

Now we finally had an idea that put an end to all the cursing. And it's easy too!

So:

Spread the net on the grass as before. Then take a large plastic tarpaulin. They are thrown elegantly on the shrub. Nothing gets in the way, because it's a piece. And now comes the trick: on the tarp you put the net.

And carefully pull underneath the tarpaulin away. Finished! It was easy. Sullen two blackbirds have been watching us at work!
