Best fruit fly trap ever
When it comes in the bistro with us again with the fruit flies, I always make short work:
Take a small glass of water, some vinegar water from pickled peppers or hot peppers (but any other strong smell of vinegar stuff also, or sour juice, wine, etc ...), and then you need one more of these window fly strips with the poison turn.
Wet fingers with vinegar, stroke the fly strip so that the git mixes with the vinegar and then spreads the top of the glass, ready!
The critters sit down first on the edge and look around and try a bit and then fall at some point :) some crawl into the glass and then fall into the lake but I would not rely on me, with the delicious yummy tasting is safer.
If you do not want to have the poison on your finger, you just have to take something else to smudge, I'm not exactly at ease with it either.
