Better fall asleep with meditation

For months I could not fall asleep and sleep through. A thousand thoughts and musings made it difficult for me. I could never shut down properly. I have tried lavender, tea and autogenic training without success. I got sleeping pills, but I did not want to be dependent on it in the long term.

Now I have found the ultimate solution for me. It means guided meditation - sleep well - from the internet. There are many different offers and this is also free. I hear it through headphones - I know, now many of them are screaming, no electronic devices by the bed, but it has helped me incredibly.

I prefer the smartphone on the bed rather than when I roll around for hours and can not sleep and sleep through. Through the gentle and reassuring voice no other thoughts come up. Most of the time I fell asleep before the end of the meditation and managed to sleep for 6 to 8 hours.

The headset slips out of bed while sleeping and the smartphone switches off anyway. I've been doing this for about 8 months and now I can even fall asleep without it. Maybe it helps one or the other, who is not afraid of electronics on the bed.
