Bircher muesli - prepared the night before

If you soak oatmeal or other cereal the night before, the cereal is much better for digestion and does not blow. We have been doing this for many years in many different ways. Instead of the different cereal flakes you can of course also take a ready-made base cereal.

Soak a few cereal flakes, a little flaxseed and a few sunflower seeds in a little water or apple juice, add a small amount of dried fruit as you like, or top up with some frozen fruits (raspberries, cherries, etc.) and liquid honey or maple syrup. Cover and soak overnight.

Add fresh fruit, such as apple or pear, cut into small pieces in the morning, spread on the breakfast bowls and add 1-2 tablespoons of yoghurt or thick milk. That's how the breakfast tastes and the day starts off well!
