Black spots on the potatoes
Black spots on the potatoes? That does not have to be!
Simply put the potatoes in oil and the stains disappear in no time.
It just looks better when the potatoes are clearly clear yellow, especially now on New Year's Eve Raklett.
Dora: Friedrich Ackermann has not answered here in the course of many years, as he now means the black spots and now he is logged out and answers anyway no more :-(Therefore, this tip is not actually in 2013 as a "tip of the day".
With raw peeled potatoes, if you peel them for a while before cooking, only black spots will result if you do not completely cover them with water. But then no oil helps but the black spot must be cut off.
Cooked potatoes have never been stained black, and if that happens, I'd say it only helps to cut them off.
