Blender: Mashed potatoes made easy

Do not stomp mashed potatoes with the rammer, but with the blender!

I looked at my Schwima, totally logo but for years "wrong" made * hrhr *. Surely goes with other purees.

you've probably already eaten some cakes before, because the difference between squeezed potatoes and mixed potatoes is huge.
Mixing completely destroys the fibrous cell structure of the potato, leaving the remaining particles, which were previously fibers, able to absorb a lot of water and therefore the puree becomes slimy-sticky-paste-like.
in the case of pressed or mashed potatoes, the fiber is preserved to such an extent that the puree becomes an airy yet firm matter, as should be the case with a mashed potato.
That's why a cook would never use a mixer. potato soup fan: never would I take a mixer. The wallpaper paste tastes really just horrible and every chef advised against it.
We were also many people in the household and we have the potatoes through the Spatzenpresse- some have pressed a potato press.
squeeze the hot peeled potatoes, butter, hot milk of nutmeg and salt to stir and a tasty puree is ready ...
if the puree is left over you can still cook a tasty potato soup and there is no leftovers from it.
