Body and mind refresh with mint

With us it is currently very humid 32 ° C ... Sweating is announced. For me, there is nothing worse than sticky walking around.
Refreshment must come!

I cook from 2 sprigs of fresh mint and 2 sprigs of lemon balm with 200 ml of water a strong tea. I let this pull for 20 minutes. The tea I fill then in a small spray bottle (pharmacy, drugstore) and already I have a great refreshment on the go. The spray can be safely stored 24 hours and spray on the skin if necessary. The mint has a cooling effect and one smells pleasantly fresh.

At home a relaxing and at the same time refreshing foot bath is taken. Prepare a tea as described above and place it in a suitable bowl. Add 2 drops of essential mint oil and fill the bowl with lukewarm water. You should not take very cold water, because you can get circulatory problems and you sweat only more.


If you want to refresh yourself from head to toe, you should make a tea from 500 ml of water with 5 sprigs of mint and lemon balm each. Add 3-5 drops of essential mint oil and take a full bath. Again, you should fill the tub with 36-40 ° C warm water. The mint is also suitable for washing greasy hair.

Even with fever, I can only recommend refreshing mint washings! Again, it is well cooled and the smell of mint does especially good for colds at the same time.

If you have a headache frequently, you should put 1-2 drops of mint oil on your forefingers and then massage the oil in gentle circular movements from the temples to the forehead. This is really good and mild pain disappears completely without chemistry.
