Boeuf Stroganoff on the style of the house

Boeuf Stroganoff with? Normal? Beef prepared tastes just as delicious as with beef tenderloin. I prepare it in the pressure cooker (12 minutes).
Cooked in a conventional pot, you should plan for about 30 - 40 minutes, but that should not be a problem.
ingredients
- Chop 600g of lean beef (slices of meat 1cm thick cut from the leg of beef) into strips or pieces, salt and knead slightly.
- Peel and halve 1 onion and slice the halves lengthwise
- Sliced 200 g mushrooms
- 3-4 gherkins cut into pens
- Juice and abrasion of a 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 teaspoons anchovy paste
- 400 ml of water or soup
- 200 ml of cream or sour cream
- 3 tbsp oil
- Salt pepper
preparation
- Roast the meat in 3 portions in hot oil and set aside. You know that if too much meat is seared at once, it leaves a lot of water and cooks rather than fries.
- Add some more oil to the pot, add the onions and the mushrooms and roast slowly until the gravy has come off the bottom of the pot.
- Put in the meat, pour in water or soup and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Now add lemon and anchovy paste and bring to a boil. Do not worry, the anchovy paste does not make the food fishy, but give it a certain whistle.
- Now the flour mixed with cream or cream is stirred in and briefly boiled until the sauce becomes creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper.
As a side dish I have chosen spaetzle. Pasta is good too - I do not like rice with this dish.
