Boiled cornstarch is a good glue

Cooked cornstarch is a good glue to to embellish with fabric cartons. Here is a recipe for a simple glue that is harmless to both man and mouse. It costs almost nothing and is very easy to make.

You can use it to stick fabric on smooth surfaces, for example, embellish a shoe box as a gift box with a beautiful fabric.
Or stick a board with an unusual fabric as a mural.

You need as a basic recipe:

4 cups of water
1 1/2 cups of cornstarch

The cornstarch is stirred in a little cold water.

The water is brought to a boil, boiled with the added cornstarch, until a creamy porridge is formed. Stir well to avoid lumps - if thick, add more water. Let cool down.

With a thick brush you can now apply the adhesive and press the fabric. It's not meant for eternity, but it does hold up well. At any time, the fabric can be replaced again.
