Bound Berlin potato soup with sausage slices, vegetables and bacon

ingredients

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • some birch trees
  • Through bacon
  • 9 Viennese sausages
  • 2 onions
  • a little butter
  • Water and broth per 0.5 liter
  • Pinch of salt, pinch of pepper and a little parsley

preparation

Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Wash the soup vegetables and cut everything small, peel onions and dice small. Now add the potato cubes and vegetables in a stock pot and add the water and stock. Put the soup pot on top and let it simmer on medium heat. Take a pan and lightly fry the onions with a little butter in the pan.

Now put the onions in the stock pot, then chop the bacon and sauté in the same pan and then add to the stock pot. When everything is simmered, use the skimmer to take out some of the potatoes and thoroughly mash the rest in the soup pot "with a blender".

Then add the potato cubes again. Slice 1 Wiener sausage and add it to the stock pot. Now add the 8 Vienna sausages and simmer for 5 minutes on a small scale. Put in some parsley and lightly fold in, finished is the bound Berlin potato soup "without binder addition"! Is really good in the taste.

My boys, my daughter-in-law and all my grandchildren love to eat them! "This is a bound Berlin potato soup for children and for us big children" - laugh :-)
