Bracelets against travel sickness

My three children always get sick on ship and air travel.

16 years ago we were on Sylt and wanted to make a boat trip from there. So I went to the pharmacy and asked for travel tablets. I also got some, but they would not be suitable for children, I was told. Instead, I got elastic bracelets with a push button that presses on an acupressure point on the inner wrist.

The bands are called 'Sea Band', by an English company, and are recommended for motion sickness as well as for pregnancy sickness.

At airports, there are also such bands from another manufacturer, in the duty-free shop. There are special for little children. It may sound esoteric, and I was also quite skeptical of its use, but I assure you, we've all got such bands now, they've never failed. Not even on the bumpiest flights and at high seas!

The advantage is of course, you do not have to take anything, have no side effects, do not have to eat ginger (not everyone likes it) and the bands are comfortable and do not bother. Even with nausea, caused by migraine, they help.
