I would like to share my favorite jam recipe with you today.

ingredients

  • 500 g sea buckthorn berries
  • about 600 - 650 g Williams pears
  • 600 g jam sugar 2: 1
  • 1 pinch of citric acid (vitamin C)

preparation

Lightly puree the sea buckthorn berries and then pass through a sieve. Weigh this amount and add 1kg to the peeled and chopped pears. Stir in the gelling sugar and the knife tip of citric acid and boil for 3 minutes. Then fill as usual in glasses. I take with this recipe 100 g Gelierzucker more because the jam is not otherwise fixed.

A tip on the sea buckthorn berries: You get them almost only frozen in Turkish shops, which also have a Russian department.
