I read the recipe for these delicious Christmas biscuits over 30 years ago in a magazine, and since then it has been part of my repertoire.

ingredients
- 150 g block chocolate - finely grated
- 150 g of butter or margarine
- 150 g of sugar
- 1 egg
- 150 g of ground almonds
- 200 g of flour
For covering:
- 2 egg yolks
- 170 g powdered sugar
- a little lemon juice
- grated chocolate
preparation
- The butter, sugar and egg are whipped until frothy. After that, the grated chocolate, the almonds and the flour are kneaded under.
- The dough is left cold for some time and then formed into rolls. Cut off about 0.5 cm thick slices of these rolls and place them on a baking sheet. They are baked for about 20 minutes at 160 ° (hot air).
- On the cooled biscuits you pass the egg yolk mixed with powdered sugar and lemon juice and spread chocolate grated on it. I simply rasp a small piece of chocolate bar with a knife.
- Let it dry and enjoy.
Caution: Do not nibble on the raw dough - increased addictiveness!
