Loosely light waffles that taste fantastic and save about 250 g of butter (fat of any kind) per recipe. Converted are the saved 2500 calories, to other waffle recipes, and yet they taste delicious once.
I (trained baker) could not believe how delicious these buttermilk waffles are.
ingredients
- 150 g of sugar
- 500g flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 800 ml of buttermilk
- 4 egg (s)
- 4 tbsp oil for brushing
- Powdered sugar for dusting
preparation
- Mix flour and sugar and in a bowl with the baking powder.
- Then add buttermilk and mix everything with the mixer to a smooth dough.
- Is the dough dripping from the spoon? Great! That's the way it has to be. If necessary, add buttermilk.
- Now separate the eggs. The yolks come right to the dough and are stirred. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Then carefully lift the egg whites with a wooden spoon under the dough. The dough should now be nice airy loose.
- Now bake in a not-so-hot waffle iron.
Very simple recipe, although you need 2 bowls (again to rinse so much), but the finished waffles let you forget the little washing-up quickly.
I'm a sweet peck and I ate the waffles with applesauce for dinner.
Otherwise, it can be said that the recipe for 4 good waffle knife is sufficient for coffee.
