Real princesses are not out of the box.
Our Sleeping Beauty has arisen, as the satin nightgown by Aldi was unfortunately too small for Mama. The length was great for the daughter, it only minor things had to be changed.
The straps were too long and were shortened. Of course, it was still too far up around, without cutting the fabric, I sewed something at the front, behind and under the arms just by hand ... quite simply for beginners.
For including a white long-sleeved shirt and a pair of Strumfhose you can buy for little money, if you should not have it in the closet. In addition a chain of mom and the little princess "struts" through the apartment.
Only the crown is missing. Now we've done so much trouble with the dress, because we have to accelerate at the crown again ... a purchased plastic crown would ruin everything.
I bought a fabric-covered red hairband and two rose-candle rings. The rose-candle rings were those where a tendril still went down.
I sewed these candle rings on the headband and finished our Sleeping Beauty crown. Our creation is already a few years old, now there are even easier ways: with a hot glue gun, a few scattered flowers from the discount and a hairband, the imagination knows no bounds.
