  • 500 g Geschnetzeltes (turkey breast of Aldi or Lidl is the cheapest and you can even "schnetzeln")
  • 1 packet of sliced ​​cheese "Chester"
  • 1 stick of leek
  • 1 large tin of mushrooms
  • 1-2 packs of bacon cubes
  • 1 large or 2 medium sized onions
  • "Seasoning No. 1" by Maggi
  • 1 packet of hunter sauce (it does not have to be awesome, just like TIP)
  • 2 cups of cream

preparation

  1. First you have to dice the onions, fry with the bacon cubes and let cool.
  2. Then you mix the Geschnetzelte generously with the Maggi seasoning mixture (by the way, the hottest seasoning for all sorts of meat).
  3. Place the spiced meat in a casserole dish - spread the cheese slices over it (leave a small gap here and there to allow the sauce to flow through later)
  4. Now comes the sneaked leek over it.
  5. Next, pass the drained mushrooms over
  6. Finally, the cooled bacon and onion cubes on top.
  7. Now you cook the hunter sauce according to the package instructions, pours the cream and give the whole beautifully distributed in the casserole dish (it must be lightly covered everything).
  8. The whole thing must now pull 24 hours in the refrigerator. 18 hours are enough. But it should not be much less, otherwise the meat may not be so juicy tender.
  9. The next day you pack the casserole dish at 200 ° C for about 1.5 hours in the oven. Finished!

It goes well with pasta, rice, potatoes or just baguette. Tastes great! And is very convenient if you have invited visitors ... because the preparation on the day before the kitchen is already clean on the day of the visit!

My menu suggestion for your visit

  • Prepare a nice salad. Let the lettuce bathe in cold water about 30 minutes before the arrival of the guests, which keeps it crisp.
  • Keep the dressing in an extra bowl and give it just before consumption. This prevents the salad from collapsing.
  • Now prepare a delicious dessert that likes to stand for 1-2 hours (such as quark with fruit or something similar) and put it in the fridge.
  • Put the water for the pasta (rice, potatoes) so that you can serve the freshly poured side dish (together with the hunter's pot) directly after the salad. In this way, you have a great 3-course menu (salad, hunter's pot, dessert), which is guaranteed to be great and in which your kitchen (except for the pot of pasta cooking) is clean again, before the guests are even there!
