Casserole with buttered vegetables and chicken breast
Recipe, favorite casserole of my men
Yesterday I once again made the favorite casserole of my men. It is a casserole with buttered vegetables and chicken breasts.
First the list of ingredients:
- 3 pak. buttered vegetables
- 2 bags of broccoli cream soup
- 1 cup of sour cream (can be also fattred.
- 1 fettred. Cream for cooking)
- 4 - 5 pcs. chicken breast
- Possibly. 2 tablespoons of herbal melted cheese
- Possibly. some Milk
- salt and pepper
Now to make the casserole:
- Cook the pot (if coated) with 3/4 L of water and the two sachets of broccoli cream soup
- The cup of sour cream and the fattred. Stir in cream and bring to a boil again
- Stir in the 3 packets of buttered vegetables (they may still be frozen)
- If you want, you can add 2 tablespoons of herbal melted cheese
- Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides and place in the casserole dish (if possible also coated)
- Pour the contents of the pot (buttered vegetables) over the chicken breast
- Down in the preheated oven, 200 degrees (top, bottom heat), or 180 degrees hot air
- Stir from time to time, if necessary, if too little sauce, stir in some more milk
The casserole stays in the oven for about 1 hour
As a side dish we eat rice and herb baquette
When my men came to dinner, the joy was huge, because it was their favorite dish. I always cook a bit more of it and so the day after that, there is also the delicious casserole.
A little tip: I stir the remaining casserole and the rice. Then I put it in a microwaveable pot with a lid. This makes it easier to warm up and can also be put in the fridge.
