Catch rainwater

Whoever - like me - does not have a rain barrel, can manage that and spoil his plants, at least once in a while, with rainwater:

When it's raining, just set the garden table (mine is round, 4 legs, the Resopal plate is one piece) slightly sloping. For a wedge or similar Place under one, preferably two table legs and put under the inclination of the table top a container - the wider, the more and faster it runs full. With us it is a square stacking box (about 40l), buckets are rather not recommended.

In rainy summers I came with this method even almost without tap water for pouring.

In case of heavy rainfall collected water is then transferred to watering cans and buckets (container under the table again) and you can "hoard" a few liters.

Also this year, the garden furniture is already out there with us and in a hidden corner my tools are waiting for their use ... but honestly: from time to time I am also happy when the sun shines :-)
