Catch wasps

My tip even comes in time for the winter season. Well, the hobbyists can already mark times.

You take:

  • 1 old mason jar
  • some parchment paper
  • Scotch tape
  • a rich blend of different substances that attracts wasps, bees, and all the socks. What works best, I can only hint, maybe this is still discussed in the comments. Good is honey, fruit nectar and so, all in small quantities, but stir well and nice and warm, dambs.

That's how it works:

Put the super insect mass in the preserving jar. Turn the parchment paper into a cone and fix it, caution, at the top there must be a small hole, about 5mm wide. The lower diameter must be slightly larger than the opening of the jar. And now you simply put the bag upside down in the jar, if it's windy, you make them still with some Tesa. Put it on the table and watch as the wasps crawl in and never come out again.

Some people may find it amusing that the animals still live when they are, making them ideal experimental subjects for hallucinogenic narcotics.
