ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 1 to 1.5 L broth, depending on the size of the cauliflower (eg Knorr vegetable broth)
  • 1 cup (200 ml) sweet cream
  • 3 corners (about 100 g) Camembert (eg Se Chavegrand by Lidl, 45%)
  • some fresh grated nutmeg
  • freshly ground pepper (eg red + black)
  • salt

preparation

  1. The cauliflower is washed, cleaned and divided into good sized leaves in roughly equal parts.
  2. In a soup pot, the diced onion is lightly browned together with turmeric and some curry.
  3. This is quenched with broth. Then the shredded cauliflower comes in.
  4. The cauliflower is cooked in 20 minutes (and not poured off).
  5. All remaining ingredients, cream, sliced ​​Camembert and spices are added quickly.
  6. With the hand blender you mashed cauliflower, melted cheese strips etc. The whole thing resembles a cream.
  7. This consistency can be adjusted well by adding boiling water.
  8. Maybe there must be a pinch of salt?
