Chai tea with rum and almond milk

Here is the recipe for a delicious chai tea with rum and almond milk. It is enough for 6 people.

ingredients

  • 3 teabags of chai tea blend
  • 1 vanilla pod (cut lengthwise in the middle)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 35 g of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 300 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 130 ml dark rum
  • sweet cream
  • 6 star anise

preparation

  1. Bring a pot of 600 ml of water to the boil on the stove, then turn down the heat. Let the tea bags, vanilla pod and cinnamon stick gently draw for 6 minutes. Take out the tea bag.
  2. Add sugar and honey and dissolve with stirring.
  3. Remove the pot from the flame and stir in the almond milk and warm.
  4. At the end, add the rum and stir again.
  5. Pick out cinnamon and vanilla.
  6. Distribute to 6 cups and give each a tablespoon of sweet cream on top.
  7. Decorate each cup with a star anise.
